Kilbree celebrate after first-ever South West junior A hurling final win
THANKS to the Carbery GAA Board, we are delighted to bring you highlights from the 2016 South West JAHC final as Kilbree defeated St Colum's, 3-7 to 0-12, in Castletownkenneigh on Sunday.
This was an historic win for Kilbree - their first-ever South West JAHC title.
Damien O’Gorman scored 2-0, Darragh Coakley finished with 0-4 (3f) and Denis Dullea also goaled as Kilbree led 3-3 to 0-4 at half time, and they held off a second-half St Colum's comeback to capture the divisional title for the first time in what was their first final appearance.
