It was a bad weekend in the Cork SFC for both O'Donovan Rossa and Clonakilty.

O’DONOVAN Rossa and Clonakilty will meet in the second round of the Cork SFC following their respective losses over the weekend.
Skibbereen lost to Bishopstown, 2-14 to 2-11, in Clonakilty on Monday evening in their first round game, having led 1-8 to 0-6 at the break after playing with a strong breeze.
Donal Og Hodnett scored the Skibb goal but went off injured at half time.
Conor Dorman and Fiachra Ó Deasunaigh scored second-half goals for the city side, with Ó Deasunaigh finishing with 1-6 from full forward. Sam Oakes scored with 0-5 for the winners, while Kevin Davis kicked 0-6 for Rossa, 0-5 of which were from frees.
On Sunday evening, Clonakilty lost to Newcestown, 0-16 to 0-8, having trailed 0-10 to 0-2 at the break.
