Jennifer O'Leary has become the first-ever female two-time winner of the Celtic Ross West Cork Sports Star of the Year award tonight.

BARRYROE’S Jennifer O’Leary has become the first-ever female two-time winner of the Celtic Ross West Cork Sports Star of the Year award tonight.
The eight-time All Star winner was a hugely popular choice of the prestigious West Cork sports award following her exploits with the Cork camogie team in 2014.
She was presented with her award in the Celtic Ross Hotel tonight at a gala awards ceremony.
Jennifer played a starring role in Cork All-Ireland triumph and scored a goal in the final against Kilkenny.
What makes her story all the more fascinating is that the recently crowned Munster Camogie Player of the Year had retired from the inter-county game in the winter of 2013, but did rejoin the Cork panel early last year.
Jennifer previously won the Celtic Ross West Cork Sports Star of the Year award in 2002, and has succeeded Ireland ladies’ rugby player Laura Guest, last year’s winner.
Also tonight Kealkil’s Connor Ellis picked up the West Cork Youth Sports Star award following his exploits with Cork City U19s and the Irish international U15 team in 2014.
Newcestown GAA Club received the inaugural Celtic Ross West Cork Sports Club of the Year award following their exploits in 2014.
Bantry bowler Christy Mullins was the latest inductee into the West Cork Sports Star Hall of Fame in recognition of his fantastic career that has spanned almost 45 years, and growing.
The West Cork Sports Star awards are run in conjunction with the Celtic Ross Hotel, The Southern Star and c103.
