CHAMPIONS Cork will face Westmeath at home in the opening round of 2020 Lidl National League Division 1 on Sunday, January 26th.
The Leesiders regained the title they had previously won in 2017 by defeating Galway in the final at Parnell Park last May.
The second game up for Cork is a visit to Tipperary in Round 2, while their Round 3 game on February 9th sees them head to the capital to take on the All-Ireland champions Dublin.
After that, the Rebels are home to Mayo, away to Donegal and Cork before finishing with a home encounter against Waterford on March 29th, which is a repeat of this season’s Munster final that Cork won. In a change from recent seasons where the top four progressed to the semi-finals, the LGFA has confirmed that the top two finishers will go straight to the finals in each of the four divisions (Divisions 1-4).
