CORK’S 2010 All-Ireland football-winning captain Graham Canty has been included on the sub-committee established to examine the future path of football in the county.
At the most recent county board meeting, held on August 14th, county board chairperson Tracey Kennedy announced the formation of the sub-committee, which she will chair, and Bantry native Canty, who played for Cork from 2000-13, has been chosen to assist in its operation along with Conor Counihan, manager of Cork from 2008-13, and Brian Cuthbert, the man who succeeded him.
The sub-committee invited submissions from the public and will meet a variety of stakeholders, with a report expected in approximately three months’ time.
