SAOIRSE McCarthy won’t get carried away by talk of three-in-a-row next season, as Cork look to continue their dominance of the All-Ireland senior camogie championship.

The Courcey Rovers star is a key reason the Rebels have won the 2023 and ’24 titles, and she’s now in the running for PwC GPA Players of the Year, but McCarthy insists the Rebels will stay grounded and remain focussed next season when talk will invariably centre around the possible three-in-a-row.

‘We want to win every year, and that’s no different whether you want to win one or two or three, you still have to go out and play every game to the best of your ability,’ McCarthy said at the launch of the announcement of eir as the official telco partner of the Camogie Association.

‘If we can do that, keep our heads to the ground and don’t be worrying about three in a row because we need to win A, B and C before we can win that. You won’t see me talking about three-in-a-row, we go out every year to win and that doesn’t change.’
