Thousands gathered at Béal na Bláth to commemorate the centenary of the death of Michael Collins.
In a historic ceremony, both Taoiseach Micheál Martin and Tánaiste Leo Varadkar spoke at length about the importance of Collins to Irish history and the legacy he left behind.
