BALLYDEHOB will mark International Record Day on Saturday (April 18th) with a celebration of vinyl records in Levis Corner House.
As well as DJ Bean spinning music over the shop counter throughout the day, local independent vinyl sellers, ‘Vinyl Uncorked’ and ‘ Vinyl Republic’ will be on hand with plenty of vinyl to be sold, admired or even swapped.
‘It’s all about celebrating the vinyl record and we are encouraging people to even bring records of their own that they have never played before.
DJ Bean can give those grooves a work out and get the room dancing,’ said Joe O’Leary of Levis Corner House.
‘It’s a day to step away from the laptop and leave behind the dreariness of digital downloads and the tinny sounds of earphones,’ he added.
‘Music is for sharing and dancing.’
The event begins at 12pm on Saturday April18th.
