LEAP and District Vintage Club is holding its annual threshing, vintage car and tractor run and scaled model display this Sunday, 18th, from 11am to 6pm at the Celtic Ross Hotel in Rosscarbery.
LEAP and District Vintage Club is holding its annual threshing, vintage car and tractor run and scaled model display this Sunday, 18th, from 11am to 6pm at the Celtic Ross Hotel in Rosscarbery.
Events on the day will include a car and tractor run which will depart from Celtic Ross Hotel at 12 noon, which will take in some local scenery in Rosscarbery area before returning to hotel at 2pm where main events of day will begin. The car run is being held in conjunction with Drimoleague and District Vintage Club.
An old-time threshing, static car and tractor display, dog show, children’s amusement, ‘live’ music, butter making and many other side shows will take place in hotel car park. All funds raised are going to Tristan’s Medical Fund.
An indoor show will take place in the Celtic Ross Hotel ballroom in conjunction with threshing in form of scaled model diecast and diorama show. Here, you will meet the aspiring young farmers of the future with their scaled model farm layouts, plant, truck and machinery. There will also be scaled models available to purchase.
