Gardaí and emergency services are still at the scene of a two car road traffic collision that occurred earlier this morning at The Pike on the Clonakilty to Rosscarbery Road.
Gardaí confirmed that two individuals have been taken to Cork University Hospital with serious injuries.
The spokesperson said the road is closed but there are local diversions in place.
Gardaí say their investigations are ongoing.
