A MALE driver in his 30s is being described as 'critical' after a crash on the Bantry Line at Togher last night.
The two-car crash has closed the main road from Crookstown to Kealkil, and it is expected to reopen after lunch today.
The motorist was airlifted to CUH last night after the incident, involving a car and a 4x4 jeep on the R585 which occured at about 5:30pm.
Meanwhile gardai are investigating a crash on the N71 this morning, which left a car upturned on the main Clonakilty to Skibbereen road.
Emergency services are at the scene but the road is currently still open.
