WHO doesn’t like a happy ending? Well, one pink teddy certainly did – when he was finally reunited with his owner, two-year-old Anna Howell from Amsterdam, last week.
And judging by the picture of them it seems both are thrilled to be re-united after being apart for most of this month.
The adventures of Teddy at Cork Airport over the past few weeks caught the imagination of the public as the airport’s communication team sought to reunite him with Anna after he was left behind at the boarding gate area on February 5th.
‘Anna’s mum sent us the picture of Anna and Teddy on Monday and it’s a picture both the team and all our followers has been waiting for. Since we posted it on our Facebook page on Monday ,it has got over 1,500 likes and over 100 shares and people are just delighted to see Teddy and Anna reunited,’ said Kathleen Walsh.
‘People just loved the happy ending and they put up really positive comments about Anna and Teddy. Anna’s mother thanked everyone in Cork Airport and Aer Lingus for helping in the campaign to reunite Teddy with Anna.’
Kathleen was also keen to stress that Teddy is indeed pink, after some people had commented that he was brown in the pictures of him when he was helping out in Cork Airport.
‘Teddy was always pink and never brown! But maybe he had a good wash to get his colour back before he was given back to Anna,’ added Kathleen.
