MET ÉIREANN has upgraded their status yellow wind warning to a status orange wind warning for West Cork and the rest of the county.
The warning is currently valid from 20:00 Friday to 10:00 Saturday.
Met Éireann says possible impacts of the storm include:
• Fallen trees
• Damage to power lines
• Very difficult travelling conditions
• Damage to temporary structures
• Wave overtopping
