LEVIS’ Corner House in Ballydehob, known for its music gigs, certainly hit the right note in the Irish Restaurant Awards taking the title of ‘Munster Pub of The Year.’
Both Joe O’Leary and Caroline O’Donnell, who run the popular bar and live music venue in the village, attended the black-tie gala dinner awards in the Clayton Hotel in Dublin last week where they picked up their award.
The only other Cork winner at the awards was The Black Pig in Kinsale which won the award for ‘Best Wine Experience.’
‘It’s a great thing to be given this award though and it’s a good sign that we are going in the right direction. It’s a real honour to win this,’ said Joe O’Leary of Levis’.
‘We really want to thank our customers and visitors from far and near who keep us open and to our family who keep the doors open.’
