A man in his 80s who was reported missing in Schull on Wednesday evening has been found ‘safe and well.'
A man in his 80s who was reported missing in Schull on Wednesday evening has been found ‘safe and well.’
The alarm was raised at 6.05pm on November 15th and Valentia Coast Guard co-ordinated an immediate search response.
The man, believed to be from the Rossbrin area, had not returned home and his family alerted gardaí.
Schull Coast Guard unit who were conducting a systematic search the area found the man walking along on a roadway at about 8pm.
A spokesperson confirmed that the man was ‘fine’ and not suffered any adverse effects from the weather, or any injury, during the time he was reported missing.
