A 38-YEAR-old man, who was detained by gardaí and questioned in relation to the murder of a man in Skibbereen last September, was released without charge at 4.45pm on Wednesday.
A 38-YEAR-old man, who was detained by gardaí and questioned in relation to the murder of a man in Skibbereen last September, was released without charge at 4.45pm on Wednesday.
A garda spokesman confirmed to The Southern Star that a file is being prepared for the DPP.
The man, who has relatives living in West Cork, and is a regular visitor to the area, was arrested at 9am on Tuesday, November 7th in Thurles and brought to Bandon Garda Station shortly before 11am.
The man was questioned in relation to the murder of a 51-year-old English man, Jonathon ‘John’ Ustic, whose body was found by his partner at their rented home at No 15 High Street, Skibbereen, on the morning of Monday, September 25th.
