A man in his 70s who crashed into the front wall of the well-known and popular Spaniard Bar in the Scilly area of Kinsale was arrested at the scene.

A MAN in his 70s who crashed into the front wall of the well-known and popular Spaniard Bar in the Scilly area of Kinsale was arrested at the scene.
Gardaí confirmed to The Southern Star, that a female who was inside the licensed premises at the time had received minor injuries.
‘The man was arrested and taken to Bandon Garda Station where he failed a breath test for alcohol,’ a spokesperson said.
‘He has been charged in relation to the incident and is due to appear before Bandon District Court on the morning of September 19th.’
