LUDGATE chief executive Grainne Dwyer has been named on a new high level group to advise the European Commission on innovation.
Ms Dwyer, from Skibbereen, joins Web Summit founder Paddy Cosgrave and 13 others on the group chosen to advise the Commission on how to strengthen support for breakthrough, market-creating innovation in Horizon 2020 and future research and innovation programmes.
The announcement was made this week in Davos.
