SIR – Áine Ní Chonaill (Letters, January 28th) was upset by my reading Foucault at the West Cork Arts Centre on the day of Donald Trump’s inauguration because he was a promiscuous gay man?
Well I have one word in response to that – good! As far as I’m concerned, Áine Ní Chonaill and all her regressive-minded buddies in the ICP can all go Foucault themselves sideways.
