KINSALE continues to be the most expensive place to buy a house in Cork with an average house in the waterfront town costing €335,000, but typically making much more.
That’s according to the figures just released by the CSO which has revealed Ballincollig as the second most expensive Cork address where houses are selling for an average of €332,000.
The CSO residential property price index reveals an average house in Clonakilty is making €223,000 while in Bandon prices dip slightly to €220,000.
Buyers in Macroom can expect prices to be around the €192,500 mark while in Skibbereen average prices are €185,000.
In Dunmanway they’re hovering around the €178,500 mark.
Bantry houses, according to the index, are making an average of €170,000.
