THE Happy Pear brothers from Wicklow are bringing their ‘East coast’ cooking to West Cork this weekend when they give a cooking demo in the Celtic Ross Hotel in Rosscarbery.
The duo, who have become a cuilnary sensation after the success of their Happy Pear café, have also launched cookbooks and a YouTube channel. They opened their café in the ‘noughties’ in Greystones, after their veg shop – opened in 2004 – was an instant hit. And now they are bringing their tips and cooking advice to a West Cork audience, on Satuday October 8th, from 3pm-5pm.
They will demo 3 dishes and there will be tastings and a glass of wine at the end. The brothers will also be selling and signing their books afterwards. Tickets are €25, for more, contact the Celtic Ross Hotel at 023 8848722.
