GOOGLE Science Fair’s top prize-winner arrived back in Schull to a huge welcome from family, friends, politicians and Schull Community College students and staff.
Fionn Ferreira, who completed his Leaving Cert this year, was welcomed by school principal and deputy principal Brendan Drinan and Padraig O’Sullivan.
Mr O’Sullivan said Fionn was a ‘pure’ scientist and a ‘gentleman to his fingertips’.
Fionn will now travel to Groningen in Holland to study science at college.
