The singer, who is about to launch her new single, 'Love Games', has started the funding campaign on the Fund It website
GLENGARRIFF-based singer Danica Holland has come up with a novel way of funding her music career with a unusual crowd-funding initiative.
The singer, who is about to launch her new single, ‘Love Games’, has started the funding campaign on the Fund It website, and is offering fans a number of ‘gifts’ in return – from making them dinner, to baking muffins or singing in their homes or at their wedding.
She has produced a ‘sliding scale’ of treats, starting at €5 for a digital download, rising up to €2,000 – which will see her writing a song, just for you, with her producer.
The Voice of Ireland performer and X Factor contender says she is ready to embark on a solo career after the experience of reality TV gave her a taste for stardom.
Her first single, a self-penned, emotional pop narrative ‘Love Games’ is ready to go. Drawing heavily on personal experience, this first single combines elements of dance, pop and R ‘n’ B.
With yet more songs waiting in the wings, Danica is embarking on crowd funding the production and release of her music and accompanying videos, through a Fund It campaign.
