A CYCLIST has been airlifted to hospital this lunch-time, following an accident with a car outside Skibbereen.
A CYCLIST has been airlifted to hospital this lunch-time, following an accident with a car outside Skibbereen.
The cyclist is believed to have collided with the car after mid-day, at Saunder’s Cross, about two miles from the town.
Two ambulances and West Cork Rapid Response attended the scene and gardaí were also in attendance.
It is believed the cyclist, an adult male, was airlifted from the scene.
