The Health Protection Surveillance Centre has today been notified of 2,605 new cases of Covid-19.
As of 8am today, 487 Covid-19 patients are hospitalised (down 16 on yesterday), of which 99 are in ICU.
The Tánaiste said today that 'nobody can rule out' another lockdown; but he believed we can avoid it.
