THE Clonakilty Christmas Express will once again make its annual magical train journey through the town on Saturday December 14th and Sunday December 15th from 12.30-5.30pm.
This year the Express will be run by the brand new YMCA youth group in partnership with the Clonakilty Chamber of Commerce.
Courtney Canning, organiser, said the young people of Clonakilty were delighted to get involved and spread the joy of Christmas to everyone in West Cork and beyond. ‘The highlight of this weekend will be the magical train journey which will be in service Saturday and Sunday. This promises to be a fantastic weekend of entertainment and we are looking forward to wishing visitors a very happy Christmas.’
The Express will bring all of the favourite characters, along with some surprises and an Elf Parade through the streets of the town.
Festive fun will include letter writing and baking in Mrs Claus’ House, Elf art camp, face painting, pottery, carol singing, live music and much more. Food and drinks will be served at Christmas square. Tickets are €4 and may be booked at https://uticket.ie/event/clonakilty-christmas-xpress-2019. For more information please visit www.clonakilty.ie.
