Water supplies in areas around Clonakilty were affected on Saturday due to a burst water mains pipe.
Uisce Eireann said works were taking place in the afternoon, with supply disruptions expected to Rathbarry, Clonakilty, and surrounding areas.
The water authority recommended residents allow two to three hours after the estimated restoration for supply to return to normal.
