LEAP village, between Skibbereen and Rosscarbery, was the location of a major traffic incident this afternoon, when a lorry travelling on the N71 road crashed into the front of a local furniture shop.
Ambulances and the fire brigade were called.
Luckily, there were no other vehicles involved in the incident.
The lorry driver was treated at the scene by emergency services.
