A BANDON man is believed to be among two Irishmen killed in a car crash in Canada at the weekend.
The two men were killed when their car crashed on a motorway near the town of Melita, in Manitoba on Saturday morning.
It is believed one of the two men was from Bandon originally, while the other occupant of the car was from the North Cork area.
The emergency services were called to the road at about 10.30am Canadian time on Saturday, the Winnipeg Sun has reported.
The men, aged 33 and 42, were both pronounced dead at the scene.
The Royal Canadian Mounted Police have appealed for witnesses to the incident.
