Castlehaven star went off injured in league game on Sunday

THERE are concerns that Cork footballer Brian Hurley is facing another extended spell on the sideline.
The Castlehaven footballer (24), back in action following a serious hamstring injury last summer, suffered an injury to the same hamstring during the second half of a league game against Ballingeary on Sunday.
Hurley had ripped his hamstring off the bone during Cork training last July – and the fear is that the West Cork man has suffered another serious injury.
A Castlehaven spokesman said: ‘We’re waiting to see what the scan will say, hopefully it won’t be as bad as we fear.’
Another spell on the sidelines would be a big blow to Hurley who has missed the last eight months and was patient throughout his comeback, while it would be another setback for Peadar Healy's Cork team that is struggling for firepower at the moment.
Hurley had come on a sub in the recent league loss to Ballincollig, scoring two points in the final 20 minutes.
